Description Summary

 

Embark on a half-day geographic adventure in Gran Canaria. Take a van tour through the rugged mountains and  watching on the way the Necropolis of Arteara archaeological site. Enjoy a half-hour camel safari through the Barranco de Fataga, and a visit a petting zoo.

Detailed Product Description

 

In just 3 hours you’ll cover most of the incredible landscapes of Gran Canaria on this geographic tour. Begin with a Jeep excursion through Gran Canaria's spectacular mountain scenery, taking in stunning volcanic formations and exotic tropical plantations. Watch to the fascinating Necropolis of Arteara, a large pre-Hispanic cemetery that features nearly 2,000 ancient burial mounds. Next you’ll enjoy a visit to Camel Safari Park, where you’ll have an up-close encounter with a camel. You’ll touch and feed a camel before climbing onto its back for a half-hour trek through the dazzling Barranco de Fataga, a lush valley of a thousand palm trees. Following the camel safari, meet the other friendly animals who live in the park, such as donkeys, goats, monkey, and parrots. At the end of the tour you’ll have free time to visit the shop or the bar, or just enjoy the scenery.
